SCAIME, Schneider Electric partner for process weighing applications since 2008,was awarded "Technology partner for Industry 2013" by the board of collaborative automation partner program (CAPP). This partnership is particularly concretized by the launch in exclusivity, of the weighing module PMESWT in early 2014. This single channel plug-in weighing module is dedicated to the new M580 and x80 RIO ethernet backplane. Since 2008, Scaime is an active member of the "Collaborative Automation Partner Program", created by Schneider Electric in order to offer even more extended automation solutions to its customers. For this partnership, Scaime was selected to bring its know-how, product range as well as long term experience in the field of checkweighing, filling and dosing applications, taking advantage of its new eNod4 digital transmitter. The eNod4 provides a highly competitive solution for load cell integration into industrial automated systems. It can be connected to PLC's using RS485, RS232 and CANbus communication ports, using Modbus-RTU and CANopen protocols. In addition to offering powerful functionality for high speed measurement transmission, eNod4 includes specific application software dedicated to dosing and dynamic weighing. Especially designed for very high speed processes, eNod4 offers a real guarantee for manufacturers to obtain the best solution for a quick and accurate weighing process of their filling, sorting and weighing machines.

Weighing modules for Schneider Electric PLC/PAC SCAIME offers weighing modules allowing to manage strain gage load cells and communicate weight data over the I/O chassis backplane to the processor. They provide basic weighing data and could provide algorithms to control industrial weighing processes as filling, batch dosing or flow calculation. The PME SWT is a high performance weighing module directly integrated in the Schneider Electric Mx80 automation system.
